Dynaudio System 240 and MW190

Dynaudio Web Page

Introduction
I chose Dynaudio speakers for their uncompromised sound quality and construction. They are a bit pricey, but definitely worth it if your budget allows. Make sure you audition a pair that has been properly broken in. The sound changes dramatically.

Dynaudio Information
Dynaudio Mobile Fidelity loudspeaker product highlights include unique, geometrically optimized magnesium silicate polymer (MSP) one-piece cone drivers, large diameter voice coils, large and highly efficient center magnet structures, soft dome tweeter and midrange driver units, efficient neodymium magnet structures, adjustable crossover networks, die-cast driver baskets and 100% in-house manufacturing and component sourcing for all speakers. Each driver is checked for quality control no less than 86 times during its manufacture, ensuring that a Dynaudio Mobile Fidelity product will become an essential part of any car, one which can be relied upon for many years to come.

The Dynaudio principle of oversized voice coils not only ensures perfect reliability even with very high power inputs, it also provides optimal heat conductivity and maximum resistance against heat induced variations in amplitude response. The surface of a 75mm/3" and 100mm/4" Dynaudio aluminum voice coil is approximately three times greater than that of most conventional car audio drivers. The unconventional design of the voice coil, coupled with a long throw motor structure, enables the driver to immediately convert power from the amplifier into controlled sound reproduction, efficiently and dynamically. It also means that distortion is negligible, and the ever important phase response guarantees optimum coherency between woofer and tweeter.

Dynaudio Mobile Fidelity component systems are designed to be used in a stand alone configuration, or in conjunction with a subwoofer or any combination of our individual loudspeaker separates. The matched crossover utilizes only the finest grade components and is optimized for perfect phase response and time coherency in almost any vehicle. Since all Dynaudio drivers are wide band, optimal results can be achieved with 6dB crossovers. This is truly a case where simpler is better. The disadvantages encountered in filters with a high order slope, particularly in regard to difficulty in reproducing pulse response without ringing, can be avoided. The net result yields a more linear phase response.

The Dynaudio Mobile Fidelity line of loudspeakers has a warranty that is valid for three (3) years if the loudspeakers are installed by an authorized Dynaudio Mobile Fidelity dealer. The warranty is one (1) year if the Dynaudio Mobile Fidelity loudspeakers are installed by anyone else.
